Do you ever feel taken advantage of? I mean, you’re just trying to live a good life… being a kind and helpful person….and in doing so, there are times when you end up feeling used and unappreciated.
It sucks doesn’t it? You would think it would be natural for people to respect and appreciate you?
Well, whatever the reasons some people take advantage of others, the good news is, there’s a healthy way to deal with these people….it’s called “boundaries.”
The topic of boundaries is a popular one today and important if you really want to enjoy your life. And while “personal boundaries” are the topic of many books and blogs and such…actually implementing boundaries is a whole other story.
You put boundaries in place because you want to enjoy your life by living in peace and harmony with others, only to discover that instead of things getting better they sometimes tend to get a whole lot worse.
It has been my experience that as soon as I implement a personal boundary with a pushy person, I find I’m suddenly facing all kinds of anger and resentment from that person….icky!! They become ticked-off because my boundary means they can no longer take advantage of me.
And here’s where it gets even worse. Inevitably, I start to feel GUILTY because my boundaries are upsetting them. What’s up with that anyway?
Well, how about if I share a strategy that will help you deal with this kind of guilt so you can enjoy more of your life living within healthy personal boundaries?
Just happens to be what this week’s episode of “Cheryl Shares TV” is all about….teaching you a “funny strategy” for setting personal boundaries that really works.
If you’ve ever felt guilty when setting boundaries, or maybe you’ve come up with your own method of setting boundaries that rocks…I’d love to hear all about YOUR experience. Let’s talk over in the Comments below.
You really can implement and enforce the boundaries that let you enjoy your life. Let me show you how.
See you in this week’s episode!
